Hair needs to be at least one-quarter of an inch long before waxing.
Allow three to four weeks between waxing sessions.

Replace Shaving: Unlike shaving, waxing can be done to achieve the better results. You can  wax approximately every 2-3 weeks depending on your hair’s natural growth cycle, rather than having to shave often to remove coarse, unsightly underarm hair.

Prevent Underarm Hair:  When you shave, you may still have the appearance of hair in the armpits, commonly known as the “5 o’clock shadow.” This is commonly caused by failing to get a close shave in this area. Underarm waxing removes this risk by removing all of the hair in the armpit rather than cutting them shorter.

Special Events: Waxing the underarms will provide you with a smoother appearance that will photograph well and allow you to look your best.

Please note that waxing does have certain side effects such as skin removal, redness, swelling, etc...
 I give permission to my therapist to perform the waxing procedure we have discussed and will hold her and her staff harmless from any liability that may result from this treatment.
I have given an accurate account of the questions asked above including all known allergies or prescription drugs or products I am currently ingesting or using topically. I understand my esthetician will take every precaution to minimize or eliminate negative reactions as much as possible. I am willing to follow recommendations made by my esthetician for a home care regimen that can minimize or eliminate possible negative reactions. In the event that I may have additional questions or concerns regarding my treatment or suggested home product/post treatment care, I will consult the esthetician immediately.
