Find relief and comfort during the stages of your pregnancy.  Massage during pregnancy promotes health and well-being for you and your baby.  As specially designed system allows you to lie face down while supporting the belly, helping you feel secure and comfortable.

Also known as a Pregnancy Massage, Prenatal Massage achieves the same goals as a regular massage. It aims to relax and aide in easing sore or tense muscles. However, a pre-natal massage is tailored to specifically fit the needs of a pregnant woman. Constant body changes during pregnancy create some discomforts. A prenatal massage can help relieve discomforts, including low back pain.

The Sophie is the ONLY clinically accepted pregnancy cushion that allows pregnant moms to lie safely in the prone position (stomach).  The Sophie is an excellent alternative for the mom that is tired of lying on her side. 

We recommend that clients in their first trimester not to schedule a massage.

“During pregnancy, many women experience difficulties with low back pain, disc problems, and/or sciatica. The prone position is an excellent position to decrease pressure through spinal nerve roots through extension of the spine. This is difficult to do when pregnant without the use of multiple pillows. The Sophie allows a woman to lie down on her stomach, decreasing weight-bearing forces through the spine aiding in centralization of symptoms by allowing anterior movement of disc material. This facilitates a variety of treatment options within the clinic, allowing for more direct access to the spine and SIJ.
